In 2000, Warut Suampun received a full scholarship from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Thailand to pursue his education in the USA. He earned his B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA in 2005 and 2013, respectively. Since 2013, he has served as a lecturer and a researcher at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). His current research interests include power system stability, nonlinear systems, and optimization.
