Sompob Polmai received the B.Eng. degrees in electrical power engineering from the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Bangkok, Thailand, 2542, and M.Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering, Nagoya University, Japan, 2543, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Osaka University, Japan, 2546. His current research interests include power electronics, microgrid, grid stability, control systems, battery modeling, motor control, machine learning, neural networks, renewable energy.
