Former Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and College of Advanced Manufacturing Innovation. Biography
Siridech Boonsang is a leading academic and researcher in the fields of electrical engineering, industrial automation, and smart sensing technologies. He received his Ph.D. in Instrumentation from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), UK. His expertise lies in Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Automation, Sensors and Actuators, and Optical and Laser Technologies.
He has held key leadership roles including Former Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Former Dean of the College of Advanced Manufacturing Innovation, KMITL. He is currently a principal investigator on several high-impact research projects funded by NSTDA, NRCT, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Defence, and leading industrial partners such as Seagate, Western Digital, CPF, and TSC.
Dr. Boonsang has published over 40 research articles in international journals (ISI/SCOPUS) and conferences. He is a recipient of the prestigious Royal Award for Outstanding Technologist (2019) from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. His patented invention on a cavitation sensor for ultrasonic cleaning optimization highlights his contribution to industrial innovation.
